75Ni8彈簧鋼含有約2%的鎳含量，可與1095,80CrV2,1075或1070一起用于制造大馬士革鋼。這里的鎳抵抗酸蝕刻，使大馬士革產(chǎn)生光澤層。它本身也可以用作具有平均邊緣保持能力的相當(dāng)好的刀具鋼。
